When you have the Desktop Objects Editor open, you can add a Text Object Layer.

Here is a description of the general properties:

• Object Name - You can name objects for the purpose of selecting them in the combo box above.
• Text - The text used in the layer
• Font Name - The current font used
• Font Color - The current color used
• Font Style - The font style (regular, bold, italic, or bold and italic)
• Font Size - The font size to use
• Transparency - The transparency to use with the text

Go on to the Desktop Objects Tab.

Go on to the Desktop Objects Editor.
